Yakima Landing Pads 1–41, the essential mounting solution designed to securely anchor Yakima SkyLine Towers to your vehicle’s roof or factory rack system. Engineered for a precise, vehicle-specific fit, Yakima Landing Pads ensure a strong, stable foundation for your crossbars and accessories while maintaining a clean, low-profile appearance.
Available in a wide range of shapes and configurations, each Landing Pad model is tailored to specific roof styles and mounting requirements. For example, Landing Pad 6 is designed to bolt through surfaces where underside access is available, such as camper shells, truck caps, and van roofs. Landing Pad 7 is ideal for metal roofs where underside access is not possible, providing a secure top-mount solution.
Once installed, Landing Pads remain fixed to your vehicle, allowing you to quickly attach or remove your Yakima SkyLine Towers whenever needed. This makes switching between rack-on and rack-off setups fast and hassle-free, perfect for drivers who want flexibility without repeated installations.
Yakima Landing Pads are sold in sets of two or complete four-pad kits, depending on the vehicle application. Please note that the exact pad design may vary by fit. Yakima SkyLine Towers and crossbars are required for a complete roof rack system and are sold separately. These Landing Pads are also compatible with Yakima “Classic” Control Towers, offering added versatility for legacy Yakima systems.
